It’s Christmas! This year Christopher, our co-founder and saporist, has designed a bespoke collection of Christmas Martinis celebrating the flavours of the season. And Tom, our founder, has incorporated Ovant Royal into his family’s hundred year old Christmas Cake recipe, creating a contemporary take on a traditional classic.

We’ve created delicious, effortless cocktails that you can enjoy at every gathering, with a spectacular traditional Christmas Cake ready to cut on Christmas Day. Each of our Christmas Martinis highlights the traditional flavours of Christmas.

The Ovant Christmas Martini is a wonderful combination of cinnamon and citrus. Uplifting and tart, with a gentle sweetness.

The Margaret River Christmas Martini is our nod to Christmas in Margaret River. Light, bright and refreshing with a subtle brine, just like the Australian Christmas morning trip to the beach.

The Classic Christmas Martini is Christmas in a coupe! All the flavours of gingerbread and Christmas pudding in one spectacular cocktail.


The Ovant Christmas Martini

INGREDIENTS

60ml Ovant Grace
10ml Cinnamon syrup
30ml Fresh grapefruit juice
1 barspoon Orange marmalade


GARNISH

Confit grapefruit skins
Cubed ice


GLASSWARE & TOOLS

Martini glass
Cocktail shaker
Barspoon
Hawthorne strainer


TECHNIQUE

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and mix with a barspoon until combined. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 5 seconds. Double-strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with confit kumquat or confit grapefruit skin. Strain into a martini glass.





The Margaret River Christmas Martini

INGREDIENTS

60ml Ovant Verve
10ml Salted Rosemary syrup
30ml Mandarin and Dill shrub


GARNISH

Clove studded lemon slice
Cubed ice


GLASSWARE & TOOLS

Martini glass
Cocktail shaker
Hawthorne strainer


TECHNIQUE

Add Ovant Verve, salted rosemary syrup, and shrub to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice and shake for 5 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass.





The Classic Christmas Martini


INGREDIENTS


60ml Ovant Royal
10ml Gingerbread syrup
20ml Lemon juice


GARNISH

Star anise
Cubed ice


GLASSWARE & TOOLS

Martini glass
Cocktail shaker
Hawthorne strainer


TECHNIQUE

Add Ovant Royal, gingerbread syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice and shake for 5 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with star anise.
